How do I remove, turn off, or stop using OpenDNS?

Whenever users want to stop using OpenDNS, we like to know why.  So, if you have a moment, we'd appreciate any constructive feedback. http://www.opendns.com/contact/

If you want to revert back to your previous DNS server settings, please refer to our getting started instructions for configuring OpenDNS.

Instead of using our DNS server addresses, 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220, you will want to use DNS server addresses assigned by your ISP.  Your ISP may do this for you automatically, in which case you want to choose a setting like "Obtain DNS server addresses automatically."

If you did not configure OpenDNS for yourself, please refer to your network administrator or ISP.

OpenDNS is configured on your router or machine.  OpenDNS is not downloadable or installable software, but a service. We provide DNS server addresses, which can be configured on your machine or router. OpenDNS gives users a more reliable and speedier browsing experience.
