OpenDNS does not support the myip parameter
OpenDNS is using the DynDNS protocol for dynamic IP monitoring. OpenDNS does not use the myip parameter from the DynDNS protocol.
Why not? So no one can send a dynamic IP update for any arbitrary IP of their choosing once the initial IP address is verified in your account. That prevents changing control of DNS preferences for an address belonging to someone else.
DynDNS can use the myip parameter because you would not want to point your domain to an IP belonging to someone else and break your domain.
