How to find your IP address
In the OpenDNS Dashboard, your current IP address is shown at the top right when signed in. (Definition: IP address)
Alternatively, http://www.whatismyip.com/ is a simple website with one purpose: to display the IP address you are currently showing the Internet.
Note: Any IP address that starts with 198. or 10. or 127. is not a public network IP address. It's only visible/usable inside your network. You may not set up a private network IP address as an OpenDNS network. More details...
If you have a dynamic IP address we suggest you use one of the following:
Windows: Download Windows Client
Mac : Download Mac Client
