How to set up OpenDNS under KDE with KNetworkManager
- Right click on KNetworkManager in your system tray and select Manual Configuration. If it is not already running, press Alt+F2 and type in knetworkmanager and press Run.
- When prompted enter your root password
- Navigate to the Domain Name System tab.
- Under the Domain Name Servers section, click the add button and enter the IP address 208.67.222.222
- Now click the add button again and this time add 208.67.220.220
- If there are any other IP addresses in this list, click to highlight them and then click remove.
- Now click Apply and okay.
- Wait about five minutes. Visit http://welcome.opendns.com/ .
