Guidelines for custom messages
OpenDNS lets you replace the OpenDNS logo in several places with your own custom image. Setting a custom image is free. It requires a free OpenDNS account and a confirmed network or networks, of any size from a single dynamic IP address to a /16.
Use the Settings tab in your OpenDNS Dashboard, select the network you wish to manage and then select the Customization option from the left-hand menu.
You may have different custom images on different networks.
Custom images are displayed in several places, including:
- OpenDNS Guide
- Phish blocked
- Adult site blocked
- Domain blocked
The final image size is 125x70 pixels, in JPG format. You may upload any image larger than those dimensions and use the OpenDNS tools to crop and preview your custom image.
Uploads are accepted in GIF, PNG, JPG, and BMP formats.
We now offer advanced features for customizing the blocked pages with our premium Deluxe and Enterprise services. For more information please visit http://www.opendns.com/start/
