Clearing Local Resolver Cache

The local resolver cache can be cleared by running the following commands from the command prompt (without the dollar sign):

 

Windows Computers:


$ipconfig /flushdns

 

Apple Computers:

 

Tiger: 

$lookupd -flushcache

 

Leopard:

$dscacheutil -flushcache
