m0n0wall Firewall Settings
m0n0wall is a popular UNIX firewall program. Configuring m0n0wall for OpenDNS is extremely easy. Once installed select the option under the Settings menu titled "DNS Forwarders". Under the DNS Forwarders section you will be able to input the OpenDNS IP addresses, 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220. Be sure and save the changes when done.
When the DNS forwarder is enabled, the DHCP service (if enabled) will automatically assign the OpenDNS servers to those machines.
If you use a static IP address on WAN, there is a different process. On the system's General setup page, you must manually specify at least one DNS server. That is where you enter the OpenDNS server information.
