SpeedTouch 585iv6 Modem Instructions


1. Click Start and select Run.

2. Enter "telnet 10.0.0.1" and click OK

3. Enter your username followed by enter and pasword folloewd by enter.

4. Type "menu" and click enter.

5. Select "dns".

6. Select "server".

7. Select "[route]".

8. Select "add".

9. Enter the dyndns IP in the first and second fields.

10. Enter "0" under srcask.

11. Enter "0" under metric.

12. Selct your internet configuration name under intf (ask your internet service provider if any are available or select "loop").

13. Click CTRL + I and select OK and press enter.

14. Repeat to add the secodary DNS.

15. Now, select "list" from the dns > server > [route] menu.

16. You should now see the two standard DNS IPs from your ISP and the OpenDNS server.

17. Select "delete" and enter the first addresses from your ISP.

18. Repeat with the second IP from your ISP.

19. Restart your PC and you should be all ready to go!
