iTunes Won't Work/Update Properly When Using OpenDNS
iTunes and other Apple software contact specific Apple-owned domains to look for new firmware, client updates, and media syncing. These domains have been tagged under many categories and are blocked when certain categorical block settings are selected on networks. (e.g. music, ecommerce/shopping)
Adding the following domains to your Always Allow List will solve the problems that iTunes, iPhones, and iPod Touches have with updating, app store downloading, and media downloading while using OpenDNS services.

*phobos.apple.com
*albert.apple.com
