What is Delegated Administration?
One of the great new features of OpenDNS Enterprise is the ability to delegate responsibility over your network(s) to multiple users. Users can be assigned one of 3 levels of access to all networks in your organization or just specific networks. These levels are Grant, Write, and Read. Read access gives users access to statistical data without the ability to change anything on the network. Write inherits the privileges of Read access, but also allows the user to change settings on the networks to which they have been granted Write access. Grant access includes both Write and Read access, and allows the user to further assign permissions to other users who are in your organization. Grant access also includes the ability to delete a network.
