Using other DNS server addresses alongside OpenDNS

We recommend using only OpenDNS servers, 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220. Including other nameservers (like your ISP's) reintroduces the possibility for failures to affect your Internet experience.

Also, if you are not using OpenDNS, then OpenDNS features will not work, from shortcuts to phishing prevention to adult site blocking and more.

Our servers are distributed among five geographic locations, connected by three Tier 1 bandwidth providers, so reliability and redundancy are covered.
